Under the hood
How MONOLITH masters
Play the full song
MONOLITH listens to the whole track once, end to end. Then it solves one static gain and a conservative tonal correction. MASTER LOCKED, dynamics preserved.
The loudness law
A full BS.1770-4 / EBU R128 engine measures integrated loudness the way streaming services do. You pick the target; it hits it.
A limiter that cannot leak
True-peak limiting with oversampled detection. Inter-sample overs do not survive it, at any ceiling you set.
Knows when to stop
Auto-restraint gives a finished master a light touch and says so on the meter. Deterministic DSP: the same song in, the same master out.

Questions
Straight answers
Is MONOLITH an alternative to LANDR or online AI mastering?
It aims at the same result without uploading anything. MONOLITH runs offline inside your DAW as a one-time $29 you own, and it is not AI; it measures your track with a real BS.1770-4 loudness engine and applies one honest correction. Your audio never leaves your computer.
What LUFS should I master to?
You set the target and MONOLITH hits it while preserving the dynamics. Many streaming platforms normalize playback to around -14 LUFS, so a lot of releases are mastered near there, but the right number depends on the song and where it will live.
How does MONOLITH master a whole song?
You play the track once from start to finish. It listens to the entire song, solves one static gain and a conservative tonal move, then locks the master with the dynamics intact. Same song in, same master out, every time.
Does MONOLITH work in FL Studio?
Yes. MONOLITH installs as a VST3 on Windows and macOS and as an Audio Unit on macOS, so it loads in FL Studio, Ableton, Logic, Studio One, Cubase, REAPER and any other VST3 or AU host.
How do I install it?
Run the installer and rescan plugins in your DAW. On macOS the version 1.0 installer is not notarized by Apple yet, so approve it once under Privacy and Security, or right-click the installer and choose Open. The bundled notes show the exact steps for your macOS version.
Do I need a license key, an iLok, or an account?
None of them. The plugin is keyless. Download it, install it on every computer you own, and it works. There is nothing to activate and nothing to log into.
