Ghostnote Audio
Vocal Chain Plugins, Built by Producers
Plugins for the people behind the record.
Five tools for the vocal chain, built by producers who got tired of guessing. One is free.
Start with VEIL, the free de-esser. The chain grows from there.
The line
Five plugins. One studio.
One tool per stage of the vocal chain. VEIL is free.
The order matters
One vocal chain, five stages
Pitch first, then color, then cleanup, then space, then the master. Each plugin does one stage properly and hands off to the next.
Recorded vocal in → finished master out. Run them in this order, or reach for one on its own.

Built in sessions, not in meetings
We make records and we make the clothes the makers wear. The tools we wanted did not exist, so we wrote our own. Every build is measured, validated, and gated by strict tests before it ships.
Questions
Straight answers
What formats and operating systems do the plugins support?
The plugins run as VST3 on macOS and Windows, and as Audio Units on macOS. macOS 11 and later are universal binaries that run natively on both Apple Silicon and Intel; Windows is 10 or later, 64-bit. They load in FL Studio, Ableton, Logic, Cubase, Studio One, REAPER, and any other host that reads VST3 or AU.
Is this a one-time purchase, or a subscription?
It is a one-time purchase. You buy a plugin once and it is yours to keep, with no subscription, no monthly fee, and no expiry date.
Do I need a license key, an iLok, or an account?
None of them. Every Ghostnote plugin is keyless: you download it, install it, and it works. There is nothing to activate and nothing to log into.
How many computers can I install a plugin on?
Every computer you own. Because the plugins are keyless, your studio machine, your laptop, and the rig at the session can all run them from the same download.
Do the plugins run on Apple Silicon Macs?
Yes. Every macOS build is a universal binary, so it runs natively on Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3 and newer) as well as on Intel Macs.
How do I install the plugins?
Run the installer for your system, then rescan plugins in your DAW. On macOS, the version 1.0 installers are not notarized by Apple yet, so the system asks you to approve them once: right-click the installer and choose Open, or allow it under Privacy and Security. The included notes and the manual show each step, and notarized installers are on the way.
Are updates free?
Yes, within version 1. Re-download from your original link and install over the top; your presets and saved sessions carry across untouched.
